War & Peace show 2010
Over 3000 vehicles where present at this 5 day event/show at the Hop Farm family park, near Maidstone, Kent. There was a special area reserved for demonstrations of the vehicles. Everyone was invited to drive his vehicle overthere and to tell something about his/here vehicle. This is done in certain time slots. For example there is an hour in which everybody that has a cold war era vehicle can come over and a hour that all tracked vehicles can drive. There also was an hour in which German and American 2nd WW vehicles created a 2nd WW scene and drove around simulating attacking each other. Then of course there is the static show where you can take time to read more about all the vehicles and take pictures of them. The people overthere where very enthaushastic to talk about there vehicles and to drive around in them on the premmesis. If they saw you take pictures of theme, they most of the time stopped to pose, so you could take some realy good and cool pictures of them and there vehicles.
Warning for real militairy vehicles lovers: It is a must to go there but you need the 5 full day's to see it all because there is much going on and there is much to see.
