The prototype Fox was built by Daimler with production models being built by ROF Leeds.
Fox was powered by a Jaguar engine with a Self Changing Gears semi-automatic gearbox. The turrets, which are very similar to one fitted to Scimitars were built by Alvis Ltd, Holyhead Road Coventry, England.
