I only really liked two versions of this - the ambulance and the one used by the para-Commandos

The Minerva Land Rover is featured in excellent detail on pages 60 - 62 of James Taylor's great book "Original Land Rover Series One", which I have reviewed on the Amazon website. From the short rear body, twin hood retainers, sloping door line, and door top incorporating canvas access flap for the internal door latch, Land Rover enthusiasts will know this is a variant of the original 80" series one. What is less obvious is that the body work was mild steel, not Birmabrite aluminium alloy.

Well worth getting a copy of the book if you are a series one enthusiast.
