Photo taken at the new Dobbins AFB Museum. In the backround is a Lockeed C-141 without it's wings, part of the Museum's collection. Unk. mfg. of the 6x6.

When US vehicles get an M-number allocated, that means they have a Mildrawing, and thus anyone can make them under contract to the US Government. This is one of the more modern 5 ton series, which I believe was first built by the Kaiser-Jeep Corporation (Chrysler Corp?)
