Hi Guys,
This was my Jeep and I can give you its history . It was found abandoned by the old NAS Oakland naval station by a chap (name eludes me) who rescued it. The body tub was rotten and filled with water.
The jeep was restored, but with very big tyres etc and it then found its way from the USA to the UK where my late Father in Law and I purchased it.

We then proceeded to adorn it with NAS Oakland stencils as it seems likely to have come from there. We had a new roof made, added the aerial, siren, light covers etc and because I have a disability, we took it to a jeep specialist who then enabled the drivers seat to be moved rifght back, He has to put a small extra piece of bodywork in the wheelarch to accommodate it.
The Jeep is a Genuine 1943 Ford GPW, not a Hotchkiss as it says here. My late Father in Law passed away and even though he left the jeep to me it was upsetting for my wife to always see it.
